In an one-day seminar you will learn the algorithmic approach to emergency situations, together with the employees of your practice. Practical exercises complete the course program.

1. Theoretical basics

2. Action Sequences and Equipment

  • general management

  • general recommendations for conduct during emergencies
  • Contingency plan in their own practice
  • Test plan / interval Check emergency equipment
  • Material / meaningful emergency equipment in practice: Standard Equipment (emergency kit)
  • Special Emergency Equipment: Automated External Defibrillator, Pulse Oximeter, blood sugar measurement

3. Special Emergency pictures in practice and their treatment

  • hyperventilation
  • anaphylaxis
  • anaphylactic shock
  • aspiration (Bolusaspiration / foreign body aspiration)

  • acute (insatiable) bleeding (for example, under the influence of anticoagulants and other    risk factors)
  • circulatory collapse / vasovagal / cerebral seizure / Acute Koronarysndrom

  • hypoglycemia / hyperglycemia
  • adverse effect of certain drugs such as local anesthetics incl. Adrenalin
